You can’t think of summer without thinking of vacation. We have been trained that way since our youth. So even if gas prices and the economy limit the distances we might travel for an ideal dreamy destination for rest and recreation, the warmer, longer days beckon us to “get away.”
We offer a few ways to enjoy a summer break without breaking the bank. San Jose (and the Bay Area) has lots to offer for your R&R. Whether it is live outdoor music, burgers on the grill, a bike taxi through town, or a hike in the nearby hills, we are blessed to live in such a rich place with diverse activities and events to enjoy. We hope that this issue 4.2, vacation, provides you with a way to unwind and experience our city. All you need to do is relax. We’ll provide the reading material.
