RPM: Revolutions Per Minute

A month-long event series featuring our inaugural art show, an artisan market, live performances, workshops, and more.

Join genARTS and Camino Brewing for a month long event series.

Internally we are calling this our "Experimental Exhibition Space." Why? Because this is our first time doing this, we are trying new things (for us and some of the artists participating) and we are excited!

We hope you will join us!

Stop in and see the art gallery on display from July 30th - August 29th.

We have 11 participating artists and have room for a few more. If you would like to participate, sign-up at https://bit.ly/genartsrpmapply

We will have activations throughout the month at Camino and another soon to be announced location.

Here is the schedule of events -

Friday, July 30th - REM's Opening Night

Brewing with Camino - try new brews and hear from Nate - Camino's Head Brewer and Owner on how the exciting flavors of Camino are developed and created for your enjoyment.

Sunday, August 1st - Artisan Market 12-4pm

Enjoy beer, tacos, art, music, and shop from local artisans. What a way to enjoy a Sunday.

TBD - Artist Curator Panel

Meet the mission-driven curators behind the exhibitions of MACLA, SJMQT, and ICA.

Join us in a lively panel about curating exhibitions and experiences in non-profit art spaces featuring Amy DiPlacido of SJMQT; Christine Koppes of ICA San Jose; and Maryela Perez of MACLA. Moderated by Amanda Rawson, co-chair of genARTS Silicon Valley.

Wednesday, August 18th @MACLA - Demystifying Grant Writing over Happy Hour

Join us for a fun and interactive grant writing workshop led by Angie Briones, Director of Grantmaking & Strategic Initiatives at Castellano Family Foundation.

Grant writing doesn't have to be scary if you know how to approach it and Angie will show you how. Learn the essential do's and dont's of grant writing, and how you can remain authentic while making a compelling case for funding using your own unique voice. This happy hour networking and engaging conversation will help you learn to find your voice, build relationships and communicate with grantmakers, and pursue grants that are the right fit for you and your organization.

As a professional grant writer and grantmaker, Angie has valuable insights and knowledge to share. You can submit your questions for Angie with your RSVP.

TBD - Closing Night Art Night
