Make Music San José is a free, outdoor music festival celebrated worldwide on June 21 on the Summer Solstice.

The festival features music of all genres and is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Performances take place in both common and uncommon spaces. Make Music Day International started in 1982 and has since grown to over 750 cities worldwide! Make Music San José started in 2017 and has supported hundreds of music-makers and venues and thousands of participants across the city.

This year we are excited to bring music to you live with a few livestreamed venues including the Parque de los Pobladores and the Mexican Heritage Plaza.

The festival is a program of the City of San José Office of Economic Development and Cultural Affairs.
